Tasmania is an Australian island and state of the same name. It is the smallest state in Australia, with a population of less than 500,000 people.  It is Australia’s only island state.  It is a heart-shaped island of lush green valleys, uncrowded towns and villages.

It is one of the world’s most mountainous islands. Popular places include the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area, the world’s last great temperate wilderness. There are thousands of miles of walking tracks, thousands of lakes and high mountain peaks along with 200 state forests and beautiful beaches.

One of the highlights not to be missed during your Tasmania tour is “Freycinet National Park.” Freycinet has sheltered coves, quiet beaches and granite sea cliffs abound. Wonderful bushwalking (hiking), sea kayaking, swimming and whale watching cruises are suggested activities at Freycinet.
